"IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE" (IAWL)

NOLA Voice Talent Foundation's annual New Orleans and region benefit production of "It's a Wonderful Life" embodies everything the Foundation is about: providing an educational experience and opportunities for participants, as well as giving of our talents for the benefit of the community.

Over 200 performers - both novice and experienced - have come through the IAWL program since it was introduced in 2009, with some having graduated onto movie roles and a performing career. And the production has also raised in excess of $20,000 for non-profit and not-for-profit organizations in the region.

The Foundation is now preparing for it's 11th anniversary production of "It's a Wonderful Life", to be held this year in Biloxi, on the MS Gulf Coast in December 2019 (click on poster at right for full information).

Among the community and arts organizations which have benefited from NVT's "It's a Wonderful Life" program are:

Common Ground Relief
The Tipitinas Foundation's "Instruments a-Comin'" program
Crescent City Lights Youth Theater
WWOZ New Orleans
Gretna Community Center for the Arts
The NOLA Voice Talent Foundation
The Valiant Theater and Lounge

From the 2015 production, ever-present Bill Lee as George Bailey, and Julia Sevin as Violet Bick.
