About Me

I have a few stageplays, films and commercials done. I have done radio plays and commercials and some one-liners for XM radio(MLB promos). I work pretty much fulltime in the Commercial Diving Industry, but I can get to studios in Baton Rouge, New Orleans or Houston for recording sessions.

Hopefully, I'll "retire" to do full time acting and VO before TOO long!

What is your ambition in voice-acting?

I want to do commercials, movie trailers, radio spots.

About Me

I'm 56 years old and fairly new to Louisiana. As a teenager, I toyed around quite a bit with radio drama and recording but nothing professional. Just groups of friends and myself. Later, I got involved with a local NPR station in Seattle where I was born and helped them run the mixing board. Did a bit of narration and newscasting for them. When I was seventeen, I learned to play guitar and been at it ever since. Betweeen the guitar, and singing which I'd been into since junior high school, I have definitely developed a love for the performing arts.

Other things I do include amateur "ham" radio, scuba diving, photography (professional level, not snapshots), cycling and aviation (when I can afford it).

What is your ambition in voice-acting?

I would like to do acting, including voice over, as well as music at least part time professionally. Have really fallen in love with this! Extra/Background work is interesting but I think I'm capable of more ...

About Me

A resident of Covington, La. since 2002, I am an Indiana native. I have enjoyed manipulating my voice for comic effect since my first childhood play, graduating to a sexy timbre as a college radio DJ.

My sound is crisp, neutral, and intelligent. I am comfortable with a clear, urban Midwestern voice or warm, mid-South and Deep South voices. I have practiced mimicking the fascinating characters I've met traveling and through a career in the arts and can affect various mid-Atlantic and East Coast accents, whether nasal, reedy, breathy, or urban. I have practiced a drawling southerner, a bouncy California girl, and have developed a convincing Essex girl (British). I am comfortable speaking Spanish and German and have studied Greek and Latin. I have acted onstage at Playmakers Theater of Covington, La. and Franklin Co. H.S., Brookville, Ind.

Voice work aside, I promote Louisiana's Northshore with the communications team at the St. Tammany Parish Tourist Commission. I am a consultant for arts nonprofits, providing assistance in organizational development, grant writing, fundraising and publicity. I am also a visual artist, exhibition producer, and community volunteer.

What is your experience in voice-acting?

*Interviewed on radio and TV for community and nonprofit work *Narrated tourism promo DVD for Cannes Film Festival *Narrated program for national public access TV awards *College radio DJ

What is your ambition in voice-acting?

I am interested in narrating educational/historical pieces, voiceovers and characters in television and radio, and characters in animated programs.

About Me

My radio career began in Natchitoches, La, initially at Northwestern State University, on the college station, but when I roller skated to the commercial station in town in my white one-piece lace bathing suit, I was hired on the spot to work overnights. That was just the beginning.

From there I went to Martha's Vineyard's WMVY where I began my zig-zagging career way, all around the World doing radio and TV voiceover and continueing to produce and do copywriting as well.
